CNN, reporting on the global climate talks going on in Milan, quotes Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) as saying "Kyoto and its policies are inconsistent with freedom, prosperity and environmental policy progress. I'm becoming more and more convinced, as time goes by and we look at the research, that global warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people and the world."
Believe it or not, this blustering ignoramus actually chairs the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.
As we too often forget, changing presidents won't mean a whole lot unless we change Congress as well.
