The truth will out

The New York Times for February 12, has an article about a study of US planning before the Iraq war.
The study, a rough-draft history of the war ... offers a scathing history of a Stalinist, paranoid leadership circle.... [It] yielded a portrait of a government disconnected from reality in peace and in war, where members of [the] inner circle routinely lied ... about Iraqi military capacities.
Oh, wait, I misread it. It's about Iraqi planning before the war, based on interrogations of Saddam and other captured leaders of his regime. My bad.

But still, an understandable mistake.
