And the beat goes on

Thursday, local time: Two US soldiers killed when the vehicle they were in was hit by a roadside bomb in Habbiniyah.

Saturday morning: Two US soldiers killed, five wounded by an IED (improvised explosive device) in central Tikrit.

Saturday afternoon: A store owner was killed, two passers-by wounded, when an explosion rocked a Muslim clothing store on a busy Baghdad street.

Saturday night: Three US soldiers killed when their patrol struck a roadside bomb in Baghdad.

Sunday morning: One US soldier killed by an IED in Baghdad.

Sunday night: Twin suicide bombs in the Israeli port city of Ashdod kill 10 people and wounded 20 more; Hamas and the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claim joint responsibility.

Monday morning: Israeli helicopters fire at several Palestinian locations in Gaza City.

Meanwhile, Back At The Ranch Dept.: Prominent Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr has slammed the interim constitution as "a sale of Iraq, and it is a stamp of shame for whoever signed it." He demanded all parties to veto the document and endorse a new one.
