Scummiest Lead in a News Article Award

The clear winner is AP, with this brilliant entry:
War on Terror Is Suffering in Courtrooms

BERLIN (AP) - The post-Sept. 11 war against terrorism is suffering as much in the courts as in the streets with several legal setbacks involving suspected members of al-Qaida and other groups around the world.
Yeah! How dare those courts get in the way of the War on Terrorism (copyright)(trademark)(pat. pending) with their stupid concerns about legalities and rights and innocent until proven guilty and all of that other crap. We're at war, have they forgotten?

I know, they'd be happier if the terrorists win.
