This one I will title "George Bush makes the world a safer place, chapter 74"

This past Tuesday, a bomb attack in Istanbul, Turkey, killed one man and injured six other people.

The attack was on a Masonic lodge in the largely residential Asian area of the city. According to the BBC,
[t]he highly secretive international society of Masons is seen by radical Islamic groups as a supporter of the policies of Israel and the United States.
If that was indeed the reason, it would seem the lodge was just a target of opportunity. I can't help but imagine a small, isolated, and frankly paranoid cell of people indulging in revolutionary daydreaming who imagined that by blasting a handful of anonymous people they were striking a hammer blow for The Cause. It wouldn't be the first time. Or the first place.
