Governing Councillor Ahmed Shya al-Barrak said Coalition forces have finished their investigation of Saddam Hussein whose trial is expected to take place after the transfer of power to Iraqis in order to give more legitimacy to the proceedings. The investigations concentrated on weapons of mass destruction, the international terrorism network and Iraqi money now in foreign banks. Barrak, a member of the GC legal committee, called for the trial to focus on Saddam's basic crimes and not on all of his crimes as that could take years to cover.And what do you want to bet the prosecution's case will start this summer and extend into the middle of, oh, I don't know, November?
