Just a thought

According to Saturday's edition of The Scotsman (UK),
The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, yesterday accused the West of harbouring Chechen terrorists, speaking hours after rebel leader Shamil Basayev claimed responsibility for the Beslan school massacre.

In a statement likely to further chill Russia's cooling relations with Europe and the United States, Mr Putin said the West's "patronising and indulgent attitude to the murderers amounts to complicity in terror". ...

Britain is in the firing line because of its decision to give [Russian tycoon Boris] Berezovsky and [Chechen rebel spokesman Akhmed] Zakayev asylum.

Russia regards Zakayev as a terrorist....
Now, just so I understand, I want to get this right here, someone who has been labeled a terrorist by Russia has been given asylum in the UK. Not just has passed through or has been there or has supposedly gotten medical treatment there, but has been given formal asylum. Yes?

Now, again, just to make sure I understand, by the declared policies of Shrub's "war on terror," wouldn't Russia be justified in invading the UK and overthrowing its government?

No? Why not?
