You likely have heard about the contretemps involving a portrait of Shrub that had appeared in a Manhattan art space. When the manager realized that viewed up close, the picture turned into monkeys swimming in a marsh, he threatened to have the artist arrested if it wasn't removed immediately and shut the show down.
What you may not know is that an image of it has been projected on a billboard at the entrance to the Holland Tunnel in New York, where it will remain until the lend of the month, where it will be seen by tens of thousands of commuters a day.
Proceeds from the sale of the original are going to families of GIs in Iraq who want to supply them with things the military should, but doesn't.
