They got higher standards up there, eh

I'd seen this story but it slipped my mind; thanks to Democratic Left Infoasis, I'm reminded of it again.

The Canadian edition of Time has named Maher Arar its Newsmaker of the Year for 2004. Who is Maher Arar? Well, now, if you were a regular reader of Lotus you would know about these things!
