Khartoum, Sudan (PANA, May 2) - Sudanese authorities affirmed here Sunday that Khartoum and Washington have of late been discussing exchange of intelligence.Is this why Darfur seems to have quietly slipped to the back burner of late?
In a statement, Sudan's National Security and Intelligence Agency said its head, Gen. Salah Abdullah held "successful talks recently with his counterparts at the Central Intelligence Agency." ...
The local media has lately been awash with comments about American and Sudanese intelligence officials becoming "trusted allies in the war against terror," holding regular and secret meetings to exchange information. ...
In exchange for its collaboration, Khartoum wants to be removed from Washington's list of state sponsors of terrorism. It also wants America to lift economic sanctions, the paper said.

Know them by the company they keep
This turned my stomach in a way few things have of late. Scum-licking slugs doesn't begin to describe these people. And no, I won't tell you which side I'm referring to - or even if I only mean one side.
