Yes!

Yes, yes, yes!

Acknowledging "the history of pernicious discrimination faced by gay men and lesbians," the Connecticut Supreme Court declared on Friday that "the segregation of heterosexual and homosexual couples into separate institutions [marriage vs. civil unions] constitutes a cognizable harm" and so
gays and lesbians should be afforded the same basic right to marry as any other citizen of the state, paving the way for same-sex marriages to begin in that state before the end of the year. ...

Republican Gov. Jodi Rell said she disagreed with the ruling, but said the state would not challenge it, convinced "that attempts to reverse this decision -- either legislatively or by amending the state Constitution -- will not meet with success."

With no challenge from the state, gays and lesbians in Connecticut could be getting married as early as mid-November....
Yes! And that's all I have to say about that.
