Finally, you likely know about this so I'll just mention it quickly.On December 20 Obama used his authority under a 1950s-era law called the Outer Continental Shelf Act to ban new oil and gas drilling in nearly 120 million acres of federal waters in the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans.
His environmental record surely could have been much better - but at least he's going out on a high note.
