Creep Award, National Division

Again, I don't consider this election news. I consider it as about being a creep.

A woman living in a suburb of Detroit refused to give Halloween candy to children whose parents support Barack Obama for president.

Fox 2 News reports a sign posted outside [her] house, about 12 miles west of Detroit, served notice to all trick-or-treaters. It read: "No handouts for Obama supporters, liars, tricksters or kids of supporters." ...

When asked about children who'd been turned away empty-handed and crying, she said: "Oh well. Everybody has a choice."

Based on the video, it appears that the candy she did hand out was attached to McCain-Palin flyers.

Footnote, Upping the Creep Ante: In comments at the link, someone posted the woman's name, address, and phone number. Since she was identified by name and town in the piece, that information was not hard to come by: I found the address in about 30 seconds. Still, posting it makes that person every bit as big a creep as she is.
