Thanks for the chained-CPI explanation - and the separation of SS from the deficit. Excellent. We need you in our discussions w Keating who STILL HAS NOT TOLD US WHICH WAY HE IS VOTING!!!!! (tick, tock, tick, tock) The whole frame of this discussion is absurd. Actually, the whole issue is disgusting.

Thanks for explaining the chained-CPI for us. And pointing out that Social Security is completely separate from the budget deficit. One would never know this from watching tee-vee pundits from David Gregory to Tom Brokaw (*cough* - hairball, sorry) somberly affirm the necessity of "entitlement reform". And somehow manage to invert the issue to say that privileged people like themselves SHOULDN'T GET THOSE BENEFITS. Anyhow, excellent show. We need you in (hopefully) upcoming talks with Keating. Will keep you updated!
