For the Record: Grace Slick donates Chick-fil-a money to Lambda Legal

For the record...

...Grace Slick, alumnus of Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship, allowed the notoriously homophobic fast food chain Chick-fil-A to use the song "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" for a commercial run during the Grammys.

She then took the money they paid her and donated it to Lambda Legal, a legal defense fund for LGBTQ folks and people living with HIV.

As a footnote to that, it was Lambda Legal that provided legal counsel in the recent victory in federal court in Pennsylvania on behalf of Juliet Evancho, sister to Trump inauguration singer Jackie Evancho, and two other transgender students to enable them to use the school restroom according with their gender identity.
